BACKGROUND
In 2009,God birth a vision in the heart of his servant Laura Targbeh to help needy .She began sponsoring a child who lost her father at 6 years old in 2010. The vision became clear in 2014 and it has grown into an organization . The nomenclature is now KINDLE. KINDLE operates through the following programs: I'M NOBLE - this program is a young women initiative which provides mentoring and empowering to young women who are victims of low self esteem ,victims of sex abuse ,domestic violence ,poverty ,drug abuse and many bad situations. This program will serve as an eye opener to young women and it will help them discover their possibilities in iife . The programs run in two sections : Mentoring - the mentoring section is in two forms: -spiritual mentoring -this part of the mentoring section focuses directly on the word of God. Participant will be taught to imitate women of noble character in the Bible. (Ruth 3:11, Proverb 31:10) -social mentoring -in this form,we discuss ideas of our day to day social life on topic like Building self-esteem ,simple manner and cortesy ,health tips ,resource management ,teenage pragnancy ,family planing and many other topics . A CHILD WITH A PEN -ACAP -this a financial aid program designed to help less fortunate children . Financial aids are given to those who are in need of primary education .KINDLE has for the first time helped over twelve children get back to school and has helped about four children above six years enter school for the first time in their lives . SMILE YOUTH CONFERENCE -this event brings together youth from far and near for days. The conference has a career day program and a business sumit and a youth service . Maria Career Development program -this program offers vocational skills .
Vision
KINDLE envisions the following : -that youths/people should live their lives with purpose and in alignment with their values, play to their strength, follow their passion and have a clear vision /picture of the future. -that youth /people should know the value of life and the sensitivity to recognize its worth . -that primary education should be a must for all children in Liberia . -To build modern institutions across the country to promote primary, secondary and vocational education. Core value: Honesty and Accountability -we will strive to be honest in the execution of all of our mission'a objective by maintaining transparency and accountability . -Creativity and innovation -we will evaluate our methods ,seeking cultural/social relevance to maximize the organization effectiveness for success .
